Deleting text, Clipboard

 

Specific Objectives: At the end of this lesson a student will be able to:

Introduction:

  • Deleting Text

Use the BACKSPACE and DELTE keys on the keyboard to delete text.

  • The Clipboard

You can view the elements on the clipboard by selecting View|Toolbar|Clicpboar from the menu bar.

  • Moving (Cutting)Text

Highlight the text that will be moved and select Edit|Cut from the menu bar, click Cut button on the standard tool bar.

  • Copying Text

To copy text, choose Edit|Copy, click the copy button on the standard toolbar, or press Ctrl+C to copy a text.

  • Paste Text

Select Edit|Past from the menu bar, click the Paste button on the standard toolbar, or press Ctrl+V.

Presentation (Method of teaching):

Firstly, introduce our self-secondly to motivate students and then implement our lecture planning (theoretical works with book references).

Backspace key is used to delete text to left of cursor and Delete will erase text to right.

View| Toolbars|Clipboard from menu bar. When copy and paste text, a clipboard icon comes on the screen which gives option on how to paste.
