Components of computer network

Specific Objectives: At the end of this lesson a student will be able to:

Introduction:

• (COMPONENT OF COMPUTER NETWORK)

A computer network consists of the following four basic components:

• Sending devices
• Receiving devices
• Communication devices
• Transmission medium
• (SENDING DEVICES)

Used to send messages, data or information to other devices connected to the network.

• (RECEIVING DEVICES)

Used to receives messages, data or information from a sending device.

• (COMMUNICATION DEVICES)

Used for communication between the computers and other devices.

• (TRANSMISSION MEDIUM)

It is the path or channel through which the data or information is transferred from one place to another.

Presentation (Method of teaching):

Firstly, introduce our self-secondly to motivate students and then implement our lecture planning (theoretical works with book references).
